Biodiversity in rangeland species: Consequences for ecosystem functioning and interaction with belowground organisms.

This Project constitues the Doctoral Thesis work of Biologists Daniela Cardillo who obtained a 3-year-fellowship from CONICET. It will be determined if it occurs niche complementation in absence of legume species, (1) with the presence of three functional groups: perennial grasses, herbaceous dicots and shrubs, and (2) if such niche complementation is increased when rangeland species richness is also increased.
